Sonic and his friends are headed to the new island called Stargold Island. When they arrived to see Old Man Lobster, Starfy, and Starly from their own universe watching the Golden Star is protected. Until one day, a evil scientist name Dr. Eggman who stole the Golden Star when Sonic and friends are had enough about Eggman's plans. If Metal Sonic arrives in Palisade Paradise while Eggman is holding the Golden Star to go to his new fortress called Golden Genocide right side of Eggman's empire in Uranus Utopia. They have to get the Golden Star back before it's too late. While the Golden Star will be transformed into it's evil being known as the King Goldore.

Make sure you collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds before get to the True Ending. There's a Giant Ring locations in every zone that it's hidden somewhere?
